Work Experience

Disability Analyst Portland Parks & Recreation, July 2022 – present

  • Wrote a bureau public notice of rights under Title II of the ADA
  • Wrote a bureau standard operating procedure for investigating and resolving Title II complaints
  • Wrote several other standard operating procedures
  • Investigated and resolved complaints filed under Title II
  • Created the Accessibility Champions Committee to train dozens of staff on addressing accommodations requests, modifying policies, practices, and procedures, and overseeing general Title II compliance in their team’s Program
  • Trained staff on the principles of disability equity and disability justice

ADA Title II Policy Analyst Portland, OR, March 2018 – July 2022

  • Wrote citywide ADA Title II notice of public rights
  • Wrote documents on complying with the 2010 Standards for Accessible Design (ADAG), effective communication, creating accessible digital content, addressing requests for accommodation and/or modification, and accessible parking
  • Led an RFP process resulting in citywide price agreements with two vendors to remediate digital content
